A one-of-a-kind wildlife museum on PEI
Located right here on the Carr’s waterfront property, the Carr’s Wildlife Centre is a must-see for families, students, and nature enthusiasts of all ages.
Our collection features over 750 mounted birds, carefully preserved over 65 years by Willie Labrie of Kamouraska, Quebec. It’s the largest display of its kind in North America. You’ll also meet Bob the leatherback sea turtle, showcased in his natural marine setting surrounded by Lion’s Mane jellyfish, as well as butterflies from around the world in our Pollinator Education Room. Several large animals and marine exhibits bring even more wonder to explore!
We’re proud to offer a space that inspires curiosity and appreciation for wildlife conservation. It’s an experience both educational and unforgettable.
