The Carr’s Wildlife Centre features an extraordinary collection of more than 750 mounted birds, carefully preserved over 65 years by Willie Labrie of Kamouraska, Quebec. Today, it stands as the largest display of its kind in North America, offering visitors a rare opportunity to see such a wide variety of bird species up close.
Guests will also encounter Bob the leatherback sea turtle, displayed in a natural marine setting surrounded by striking Lion’s Mane jellyfish. In our Pollinator Education Room, visitors can explore a beautiful collection of butterflies from around the world and learn about the important role pollinators play in healthy ecosystems. Additional large animal and marine exhibits add even more to discover throughout the centre.

The Carr’s Wildlife Centre is designed to spark curiosity, learning, and appreciation for the natural world. Through engaging displays and educational experiences, we hope to inspire visitors to better understand and protect the wildlife and environments that surround us.
Located on the Carr’s waterfront property in Stanley Bridge, the Carr’s Wildlife Centre is a fascinating stop for families, students, and nature lovers of all ages.
It’s an experience that is both educational and unforgettable.
